Tom has been providing visionary leadership for over 15 years in a variety of educational settings with demonstrated success in program design, implementation, and evaluation; individual and departmental performance improvement; and change management. He is currently the Executive Director of the University Career Center at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, OH. In addition, Tom works extensively with clients around the issues of leadership, career management, mobility, and transitions via his affiliation with the telos institute. Tom is especially intrigued by and dedicated to working with individuals at the nexus of personal and career transformation.

Prior to his work at CWRU, Tom served for eight years as the Director of Career Services at the State University of New York Institute of Technology in Utica, NY. For six of those years, he also taught in the graduate counseling program at Syracuse University. Tom received a Ph.D. in Counselor Education and Supervision from Syracuse University, a Master of Education in Counselor Education from Penn State University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Speech Communication from Bridgewater State College.
