Katherine Bailey is an LCSW and consultant with 26 years of experience working with individuals and organizations. Katherine’s expertise includes leadership and staff development, organizational  assessment, and culture change. She helps organizations perform at their highest level in times of tremendous growth or demand, chronic stress, or adversity. Her areas of expertise include organizational consulting, leadership coaching, crisis intervention, trauma consulting, staff development, communications, program development and learning design.

As a senior consultant at the telos institute, Katherine energizes people and transforms organizations to make lasting and meaningful change. Over the course of her career, she has led programs for a wide range of clients, including NASA, Fidelity, Apple, eBay, Comcast, Pfizer, MetLife, Nielsen, Nestle, Cox Enterprises, KPMG, Scion, and Bristol-Meyers Squibb. Additionally, she has delivered keynotes to audiences that have included the University of Michigan, the University of Waterloo, the G100, PWC and the Society of Gynecologic Oncology. Katherine was a featured presenter at the MANY (Museum Association of New York) conference in May 2017. She also provides CEO and Leadership Coaching.

During her tenure as a senior faculty member of The Sanctuary Institute, Katherine was the creator of the Sanctuary Crisis Response. She was a key contributor to the development of the 5-day leadership training, the seminal training for the Institute. She is the co-author of the Sanctuary certification  standards, and led the certification process for several years. She led the Sanctuary implementation projects for the Mount Vernon School District, the Westchester Department of Social Services, and the WNY OCFS Implementation and Core Team. Prior to joining the faculty at the Institute, Katherine was a member of the senior leadership team at Andrus, serving as the Director of Admissions and overseeing assessments for their residential, mental health and community programs. She also served as their Director of Communications.

Katherine graduated summa cum laude from Iona College. She received her MSW in the advanced standing program at New York University. Katherine lives in Westchester County, NY. She loves skiing, travel, anything on the water, and spending time with her cherished family and friends.
