Marian Wright

Senior Consultant

Marian is a seasoned human resources leader, consultant, and coach with 17 years of experience partnering with business leaders to advance human resources strategy and develop strong talent at all levels.  She has had the opportunity to advise business leaders on all aspects of human resources, building scalable development programs, interviewing and selecting leaders, guiding the transition of leaders in new roles, coaching at all levels (from emerging leaders to the C-suite), and leading strategic talent initiatives. Clients span multiple industries, including: technology, financial services, law, medical, consumer products, retail, and nonprofit.

As a senior consultant with the telos institute, Marian is responsible for the design, development, and delivery of coaching and consulting engagements within each of the firm’s three primary practice areas: leadership development, strategic planning, and change management.

Marian loves working with leaders at all levels to be their best while considering their future growth and development, both personally and professionally.  She is passionate about working with leaders in new roles, helping them to discover how to make adjustments and to leverage strengths in unique ways to meet new demands. She helps leaders identify specific developmental goals and strategies to hold themselves accountable for continuous learning and growth.

Marian graduated from the University of Minnesota with a Master’s Degree in Human Resources and Industrial Relations and received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Biology at Ohio University.

In addition to her extensive work experience, Marian also holds multiple certifications, including: Strategic Workforce Planning; Prosci Change Management; Myers-Briggs; Emotional Intelligence (EQi); Targeted Selection; Competency Modeling; and Hogan Assessment.

She has also served on the Steering Team for TechCorps, a non-profit organization dedicated to bringing STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) education to children from 3rd grade through high school, has been a guest lecturer at Mount Union on the topics of human resources, management, and leadership, and teaches management courses at Corporate College focused on communication, leadership, and change.

Marian lives in Cleveland, Ohio with her husband and two sons.  In her free time she enjoys reading, writing, running, watching her sons play sports, spending time with family, and volunteering in her local school system.
