Yan Maschke

Yan has lead strategy and execution with global cross-functional teams in a Fortune 500 environment for 20+ years.

She brings extensive experience in P/L management, strategy, supply chain management, global product line management, acquisition and integration. Yan is known for her ability to drive significant change and results by engaging both the “head” and the “heart” at an individual and system level.

Born in China, Yan came to the US for graduate studies. At A.T. Kearney, she learned problem solving skills that transcend industries and she learned to lead from the “front”, “behind”, and the “side”. A 12-year career at Eaton Corporation allowed Yan to lead people, drive results and manage change in a dynamic global environment, with increasing responsibilities in cross-functional leadership and P/L management. For 3 years, Yan led and grew a $120M global business P/L for Nordson Corporation where she discovered the intensity of her interest in helping other leaders and teams to be at their best. Yan also helped middle-market businesses develop and execute strategies in China as a Managing Director at China Centric Associates.

As a senior consultant with the telos institute, Yan specializes in facilitating strategy and team execution excellence with leadership teams. She also coaches executives on emotional intelligence, change management, strategic thinking, and executive presence. She is passionate about achieving sustainable results through experiential and embodied learning while having fun.

Yan earned a B.A. in Business Administration at Shannxi Normal University in China, an M.A. in International Relations at University of Northern Iowa, and an M.B.A. in Supply Chain Management and Finance at Michigan State University. She is a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) through International Coach Federation (ICF) and a Certified Executive Coach (CEC) through MentorCoach (ICF accredited). She is also a Program Management Professional (PMP) through Project Management Institute (PMI).

Yan serves on the board of International Coach Federation Cleveland Chapter and Cleveland Institute of Art. Yan loves to travel internationally and enjoys salsa dancing. She lives in Cleveland Ohio with her husband and 12-year-old daughter.
